Ward Fall Festival

We had a wonderful time at our wards Fall Festival! It was a great way to start the month of Halloween festivities.

Ashley with her friends Sophie and Anna Francom

Madison and Kenzie Decker.
Our little Courtney bug. She loved the hood unlike Ashley who wouldn't keep it on.

He really was happy to finding a treasure! He loved his hat and wouldn't take it off.

The kids were so excited to get dressed up. It was at the beginning of the month so it forced me to get prepared early but it will make the night before the school party a breeze! I was cutting it pretty close with Madison's costume (start to finish: 4:00 we headed to the fabric store 6:40 we were at the church). Ashley is a black cat from her ballet recital (It's nice to get more then one use out of it). Thanks to friends Christian is a cute fireman (not sure what we will do when he realizes the boot aren't his). Courtney is the lady bug that Ashley was at her age. They are the spitting image of each other. Better make sure the dates are on these photos. Even Mitch got into the spirit dressing as a runner (his running gear with one of his race numbers) which was more then I did. There was a great chili and cornbread dinner followed by a costume parade. It was fun to see every ones creativity. (Holli!!) Then there were booths for the kids. The favorite had to be the cake walk. Ashley waited patiently for 11 turns before she won while Chun ran up and jumped on the winning number without waiting in line or even walking around the circle. Pumpkin bowl was another popular booth. All in all my family had a great time and didn't even complain much when it was time for bed.

Isn't Halloween fun! Your kids are so cute. Our Ward party is tomorrow and I'm not finished sewing yet. Why do we wait for the last minute?
