Kid at Heart
Yesterday we went to James 5th birthday party. We all had fun. The girls spent the afternoon making him cards and gifts, Mitch even made him a paper airplane. The best part was after James had opened all his gifts. Mitch couldn't wait to get his hands on some. The flying helicopter, parachute man launcher and the bombor or borbom fighter jet (depending on the wing decal). The packaging and decals were so funny on the jet. Words spelled and translated incorrectly. The adults had a good laugh. After allowing James a few minutes with his new toys Mitch gave them a try. On his first try with the helicopter he sent it flying into the little boys (18 mo. and 2 yrs.) Oops!! Thankfully they all survived the crash. One more try, please??? That flight ended in the apple tree. The joke became, "how many grown men does it take to get a helicopter out of a tree?" Five I think! Mitch decided not to fly the chopper anymore and gave the parachute man a try. He launched the man nice and high. The only problem was the power lines. Double Oops!! The toy eventually fell down and Mitch decided he was done. (for now anyway!) It's great that my man still loves to play like a kid!
